The Apra Chapter Summit takes place on Monday, August 10 at the Hilton Chicago. This year, the Summit expands to a full-day event designed to foster collaboration and strategic alignment across our chapter network.
Each Apra chapter is invited to send two leaders to participate in the Summit at no cost.
Chapter Summit Schedule
The program focuses on community-building and professional stewardship through the following sessions:
- Opening Session: Introductory dialogue with the Apra International Board of Directors
- Facilitated Brainstorming: A moderated workshop to identify chapter growth opportunities and shared challenges
- Networking Lunch: Joint luncheon with the Apra International Board of Directors
- Strategic Report-Back: Review of brainstorming outcomes and actionable takeaways
- Peer-Led Programming: Afternoon sessions coordinated by fellow chapter leaders
- Facilitated Virtual Follow-up Session: A post-conference session held in September to continue the dialogue
Travel and Accommodations
To support the expanded full-day schedule, Apra will provide one complimentary hotel night for attending chapter leaders.
- Arrival Recommendation: We suggest arriving on Sunday, August 9 to ensure participation in Monday morning’s opening sessions.
- Reservations: Secure your room at the Apra discounted rate here.
- Registration Requirement: Please reserve your room for ALL nights you will require at the hotel. You will be asked to provide your hotel confirmation number in the form below. Apra will then coordinate the complimentary night directly with the hotel.
Prospect Development 2026 (PD26)
Following the Summit, we encourage you to remain in Chicago for Prospect Development 2026, which officially begins Tuesday, August 11.
