Event Description:
Join WTS Michigan for a guided bike tour of the City of Kalamazoo’s non-motorized network, led by biking enthusiast Dustin Black, P.E., Assistant Road Design Engineer for MDOT’s Southwest Region.
Participants will explore downtown Kalamazoo using a mix of on-street bike lanes, off-street shared-use paths, and protected two-way cycle tracks. The tour will include discussion of non-motorized path design elements and how they support safer, more connected communities.
The route is approximately 5 miles.
Networking will take place after the ride at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe. Non-riders are welcome to join the group at Bell’s around 7:30 PM.
