    SAWITRI Theatre Group is seeking up to 10 practicing senior-aged artists to participate in their Holding Memories program, a documentary project that showcases the long-standing excellence of artists in Mississauga's creative sector.

    Are you interested in sharing your artistic story through a short documentary film?

    Apply to be a part of SAWITRI Theatre's new Holding Memories Program. 

    SAWITRI Theatre Group is seeking up to 10 senior-aged artists (65+) to participate in a personal story-telling project that will capture their artistic vision and career in a story-driven short documentary film.

    • Applicants can be from any artistic discipline (dance, film/video, literary arts, music, theatre, visual art)
    • Applicants must be 65+ years of age
    • Applicants must have 30+ years as a practicing artist
    • Applicants must be based in Mississauga
    • Applicants must be prepared to share their story and develop it into a film script (with the support of the program).

    If you are interested in sharing your story, please submit your application by June 1, 2026 by noon (12:00pm) using this webform.
