Partners in the Park Community Participation Invitation
United Way of the Tanana Valley is excited to explore interest in a new community event, Partners in the Park, taking place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Alaska Land/Civic Center.
As United Way of the Tanana Valley prepares to celebrate our 70th Campaign Year, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the organizations, businesses, volunteers, and community members who help make the Interior such a caring and connected place to live. To kick off this milestone year, UWTV is exploring interest in a new free community event: Partners in the Park, taking place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM –3:00 PM at Alaska Land. This event is intended to serve as both a community appreciation celebration and an opportunity to highlight the incredible nonprofits and supportive businesses working every day to strengthen our community. We envision an afternoon filled with connection, visibility, family fun, and community engagement. We are currently seeking interest from nonprofit organizations and community-supportive businesses that would like to participate as pop-up vendors. Participants are invited to bring their own table, tent, booth setup, activities, giveaways, or interactive displays to showcase their mission, services, or “what” they do in our community. There is no fee to participate. A featured activity during the event will be a community scavenger hunt. Attendees will visit participating booths to collect stamps on their event card, encouraging interaction throughout the park. Completed cards will be entered into a raffle drawing, with prizes provided by community sponsors — including a planned $500grand prize gift card. We are also seeking businesses interested in supporting the event through sponsorships and prize donations for the scavenger hunt raffle.
