At Actors Tool Kit NYC (“ATK”), we are committed to creating a professional, respectful, inclusive, and creatively safe environment for all participants. Our classes are designed to challenge actors artistically, emotionally, and creatively. Students are expected to enter the room prepared to work with openness, honesty, curiosity, and respect for others. By participating in any ATK class, workshop, coaching session, writing service, or program, participants agree to: • Treat instructors, staff, guest artists, and fellow students with professionalism and respect. • Foster a supportive, judgment-free environment. • Respect the creative vulnerability of others. • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding personal stories, exercises, emotional work, or discussions shared during class. • Understand that “what happens in the room stays in the room.” • Refrain from disruptive, disrespectful, discriminatory, intimidating, or inappropriate behavior. • Respect differences in background, identity, experience, and artistic process. • Arrive ready and willing to participate fully in class activities. ATK believes that artistic growth requires trust, freedom, and community. Every participant shares responsibility for protecting that environment.

ATK classes are designed as professional training environments. Consistency, preparation, and commitment are essential to the work. Participants agree to: • Attend class on time and fully prepared. • Notify ATK in advance when possible if an absence or lateness is unavoidable. • Complete assigned preparation, memorization, writing, rehearsal, or scene work before meeting. • Participate actively and professionally during sessions. • Keep cameras on during online classes unless otherwise approved by the instructor. Repeated lateness, excessive absences, lack of preparation, or disengagement may affect participation opportunities and the overall classroom experience. ATK reserves the right to deny participation in exercises, performances, or class activities if a participant is consistently unprepared or disruptive.

To maintain a safe and professional environment, ATK reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is considered disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated, or harmful to the learning environment. This includes but is not limited to: • Harassment or bullying • Disrespectful conduct toward staff or students • Aggressive or threatening behavior • Participants may not attend classes, workshops, rehearsals, or programs under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances • Violation of confidentiality and privacy expectations • Recording classes or participants without permission. ATK reserves the right to remove a participant from a class or program without refund if these policies are violated.

For virtual classes and coaching sessions: • Students must attend from a quiet, appropriate environment. • Participants should have stable internet access and functioning audio/video equipment. • Recording classes, instructors, guest artists, or fellow participants without written permission is strictly prohibited. • Sharing private Zoom links, class materials, scripts, recordings, or intellectual property outside the class environment is prohibited. ATK reserves the right to remove participants from online sessions for inappropriate conduct or technical misuse.

By participating in ATK programs, participants grant Actors Tool Kit NYC permission to photograph, record, or film classes, workshops, performances, coaching sessions, and related activities for promotional, educational, archival, and marketing purposes. This may include use on: • Website • Social media • Promotional materials • Press releases • Advertising • Digital content. Participants waive any right to compensation or ownership related to these materials. If a participant wishes to request limited media use accommodations, requests must be submitted in writing prior to the start of the program to hello@actorstoolkitnyc.com

Participation in acting classes, movement exercises, rehearsals, performances, workshops, and related activities may involve physical, emotional, and creative risks.By registering, participants acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in ATK activities, including but not limited to: • Physical movement and exercise • Emotional or creative exploration • Travel to and from facilities • Participation in rehearsals, performances, or recordings. Participants release and hold harmless Actors Tool Kit NYC, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, guest artists, and affiliated facilities from liability for injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. ATK and its affiliated studios or venues are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, including electronics, clothing, props, scripts, or personal valuables. Please label belongings and avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to class.

Participants are expected to treat all studios, rehearsal spaces, classrooms, venues, equipment, and facilities with care and professionalism. Participants agree to: • Clean up after themselves. • Respect studio rules and building staff. • Avoid damaging property or equipment. • Follow all safety instructions provided by staff or venues. Any participant responsible for intentional damage may be financially responsible for repairs or replacement costs.

Due to limited class sizes and advance planning requirements, all payments made to Actors Tool Kit NYC are non-refundable and non-transferable. Missed classes, scheduling conflicts, personal obligations, illness, transportation issues, or change of mind do not qualify for refunds or credits. In rare emergency situations, ATK may consider a credit at its sole discretion. Approval is not guaranteed. If ATK cancels a class or program, participants will receive either, a full refund or a credit toward a future service. This policy helps maintain small class sizes, instructor scheduling, studio reservations, and the professional integrity of the program.

ATK does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying, or retaliation based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or background. Guest artists, agents, managers, casting directors, and industry professionals may participate in certain educational sessions. Participation does not imply representation, employment, auditions, or professional opportunities. By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all policies outlined in this Actors Tool Kit Registration Form, and that participation in any ATK program is contingent upon acceptance of all terms.

The Craft of Acting - ONLINE (JUNE 4 - JULY 9)

A 6-week live online acting intensive led by acclaimed actor Geoffrey Blake. Actors will explore discipline, emotional truth, imagination work, discussion, and scene study in a focused, supportive online environment built for serious artistic growth.

Classes meet every Thursday at 8:00 PM ET and run a minimum of 2 hours, with the possibility of extending to 3 hours or more depending on the work.
