Online Workshop on Best Practices for Practicing
presented by
Dave Sandage
We all know that regular practicing will improve our playing, but most of us struggle with it. Maybe you have been unable to get into the regular habit of practicing because of either lack of motivation or lack of time. How can you make the best use of the time you do have to practice? Or maybe you're not even sure how to begin. Join us for an online Zoom class about how to practice effectively and get the most out of it.
Dave Sandage will share tips and best practices that he's learned over the years from many workshops and lessons. We'll cover a wide range of topics including setting goals, practicing with purpose, structuring your practice time, keeping it fun, and creating the habit of regular practice. We'll also give you some specific tools to improve basic skills, work on hard passages, and maintain mental focus during playing.
The class will be Thursday June 11th at 7pm on Zoom and will last about 60 minutes plus time for questions. We'll record the class and make it available to everyone who signs up so you can watch it at your leisure if you are unable to join us live.
This class is free to all PRS members, and is $10 for non-members.
