IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!
First and foremost, we want to thank you all for contributing your time and efforts to this parade. For the first time, we are offering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place monetary awards for entries voted 'Best in Show' by our live judges, who will be present at the Lowe's parking lot during the event. This special occasion was funded by one of our sponsors, the Sacramento Mountains Foundation.
Please report to our parade representatives in the OFCU parking lot in front of Albertsons off 10th Street. Check-in time will begin at 8:00 am, and the parade will start promptly at 10:00 am. Once you have checked in, please proceed to the designated spot assigned to you.
Parade placements will be assigned as participants arrive on a first-come, first-served basis.
If your entry includes horses or other animals, participants are required to provide a designated “pooper scooper” person to walk behind the formation at all times.
ABSOLUTELY NO ITEMS MAY BE THROWN FROM PARADE ENTRIES. Participants are welcome to walk along the route and hand items directly to attendees.
Please return this form by July 2nd. Hard copies may be dropped off or faxed to the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce.
If a motorized vehicle will be used in the parade, a copy of the vehicle’s insurance card is required in accordance with New Mexico State statutes.
By submitting this entry form, all participants agree that the sponsors and/or organizers of this parade are not liable or responsible for any accidents, injuries, or incidents caused by you or anyone riding, driving, or walking in this parade.
CHILDREN UNDER 18 MUST either ride or walk — not both — and must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
