  • FILING DEADLINES
    Briefs must be received by the Secretary no less than 70 days before the session — by July 15 for fall sessions and by December 31 for spring sessions.

    DOCUMENT FORMAT
    Submit in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF. Double-spaced, 12-point serif font, one-inch margins, pages numbered at bottom right.

    PAGE LIMITS
    Interested parties: up to 30 pages for opening briefs / 20 pages for reply briefs. Amicus curiae: up to 20 pages for either type, including all attachments and exhibits.

    SERVICE
    Provide an electronic copy to all other interested parties simultaneously with your filing.
