• Torino Design City - Innovations, initiatives and projects promoting design-oriented ecological transitions - UNESCO Creative Cities of Design

  • Ahead of Turin Design City 2026 (a festival that will become a biennial event), a mapping initiative has been launched to highlight innovations, initiatives and projects relating to ecological transitions within the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. The initiative, promoted by a Design research team at the Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with the City of Turin, invites Creative Cities to highlight recent experiences, initiatives and projects (products, services and research pathways) in which Creativity and the contribution of Design make a difference, accelerating environmental, socio-cultural and technological transition.

    By completing the questionnaire, you will help to:

    • raise the visibility of projects and solutions that generate a real impact;
    • be included in a selection of case studies (products, services, processes) assessed by an authoritative commettee for an exhibition dedicated to Design for Transitions, as part of the Torino Design City Festival events in October 2026.

    A maximum of three case studies may be submitted per respondent (City) by Friday, 26th June 2026.

    Whilst completing the questionnaire, you can save the information you have entered even if the form has not been completed. To do so, simply click on the “Save” button at the bottom of the questionnaire. On the next screen, you are not required to register on the platform: you can select the “Skip Create an Account” option and provide a contact email address, to which a link will be sent allowing you to resume and complete the questionnaire at a later time.
