BITE @ the Home Office Volunteer Committee Descriptions
Admissions - Admissions Volunteers are responsible for checking and scanning attendee tickets upon entry, ensuring each guest receives the appropriate wristband for event access, and distributing #BITENWA cups and food trays to all ticketed attendees. Volunteers must be comfortable accurately using technology and scanning devices in a fast-paced environment.
Community Capsule Support - Outlyr staff will begin by helping volunteers understand the overall concept of the community capsule, then greet attendees, hand out stickers, and explain and encourage them to complete the community capsule form online.
Food Tray Support – Food Tray Support Volunteers will assist attendees in locating food trays and help ensure trays are properly disposed of in designated areas after use.
Putt-Putt Challenge Support – Volunteers will greet attendees, encourage participation in the putt-putt challenge, distribute and collect equipment, reset after each attendee, and provide prizes to winners when applicable.
Restaurant Support – Restaurant Support Volunteers will assist with loading out all restaurant participants and support with any set up needs while checking in with them throughout the event as well as restocking water throughout the venue.
Roaming - Roaming Volunteers will help maintain the cleanliness of the venue by cleaning off tables and ensuring that all areas remain tidy throughout the event.
Wayfinders – Wayfinder Volunteers will help direct inside the parking garage and along the bike parking route to help guide attendees to admissions.
