Board of Director's Time Committment

Serving on the Board of Directors is a rewarding opportunity to help shape the future of the organization through leadership, engagement, and service. Board members are expected to actively participate by attending the regularly scheduled Board of Directors meetings, typically held on the third Thursday of each month, as well as any special meetings called by the President. Directors are also expected to attend two Member Business Meetings annually and observe the monthly Budget and Finance Committee and MLS Committeemeetings, both held via Zoom, to remain informed on key financial, operational, and MLS-related matters impacting the organization and membership. In addition, Board members automatically serve as Directors for Florida Realtors, which includes attendance at two in-person meetings each year in Orlando, typically held in January and August. Applicants should carefully consider the time commitment involved.
