  • A. Exhibitor hereby agrees to participate as a vendor at Jamaica FEST on August 9th, 2025.

    B. Jamaica FEST hereby agrees to provide Exhibitor space for vending.

  • C. Exhibitors agree to pay the amount as selected above for exhibition space payable by Zelle, CashApp or cash to Carnival Nation on or before JULY 31st, 2026 for August 9th, 2026 Festival.

    D. Exhibitors agree to install Exhibitor’s equipment in tents no later than 11:30am. Exhibitor also agrees to dismantle its display and move its property from the exhibition area no later than 10:30pm at the close of each festival.

    E. During the festival hours 1pm to 9pm, no vehicles will be allowed on the grounds.
    If vendor vehicles are recorded driving onto property, Veterans Plaza has the right to record vehicle  details to turn over to the Department of Transportation where the individual will be fined.

    F. All vendors & Exhibitors must CHECK-IN with Jamaica FEST vendor Coordinator upon arrival. After the gates are opened, large goods can be brought in by hand cart only to the event site. Please, NO pets will be allowed in the event, except certified service dogs will be admitted. 

    G. All food and craft vendors must exhibit the premises no later than 10:30pm. A $50 late fee per hour will be charged to any and all persons who are late clearing their vending space after festival. 
    THIS POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED BY SECURITY.
    TO ENSURE FASTER SERVICE, YOUR VENDORS 
    PACKAGE WITH BOOTH ASSIGNMENT
    SHOULD BE PICKED UP AT THE FESTIVAL SITE UPON ARRIVAL. 

    H. Jamaica FEST 2026 will not assume responsibility for any special electrical requirements:
    Please come prepared with your own generator and/or open flame (open flame permit required)

    I. Exhibitor agrees not to assign, sublet, or share the whole or any part of its assigned space with anyone including any individuals, organizations, or group but will maintain and operate said vending space in his/her
    name as a sole vendor per Agreement. 

    J. Exhibitors agree to abide by all instructions given by designated identified Committee members and vendors only in their assigned area. Exhibitor warrants that it will obey all rules, regulations, and laws
    of Montgomery County, Maryland:

    *All tents must be weighted down.

    *All food vendors must meet Montgomery County Health Department regulations for temporary food
    service establishments. ALL Food Vendors Must Have a One Day Food Handlers Permit.

    * Food vendors using gasoline for generators and or propane must comply with the Statewide Fire
    Prevention Code and are subject to inspection by the Fire Marshal.

    * All food vendors must lay down tarp and or cardboard to absorb oil and prevent stains on pavement.

    *All vendors are responsible for their own trash clean up and removal.
    NO DUMPING in Veteran’s Plaza site - All trash MUST be deposed off-site.
    A $500 fine will be charged to those who do not abide by this regulation.

    *Early arrival, sturdy tents and proper signage suggested. 

    K. Exhibitor understands and agrees that Jamaica FEST 2026 and its sponsors are not responsible for loss of or damage to good or property of Exhibitor, or personal injury to Exhibitor and/or its employees, and Exhibitor upon signing the Agreement, expressly releases Jamaica FEST 2026 and its sponsors from all such claims. 

    L. Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Embassy of Jamaica, its members and employees from all property damages, personal injuries, and related losses resulting from vendor’s acts and/or omissions and agrees that claims are not limited to insurance coverage. Vendors will not be allowed on the ground UNLESS PAID IN FULL. Security will be present during the event; however, vendors are required to secure their goods. 

    M. Exhibitor agrees that any violations or regulations which are hereby incorporated into this Agreement as Attachment A, or provisions of this agreement occurring during Jamaica FEST 2026, will result in immediate termination of said Agreement and Exhibitor removal from the exhibition area. In case of vendor removal, all fees are forfeited. Music vendors, please be aware of the new pirating laws. 

    N. Jamaica FEST 2026 reserves the right and discretion to make location assignments of all exhibition space.
    Exhibitors understand and agree that should they cancel space reserved under the Agreement, they are not entitled to a refund and that all fees are non-refundable. Exhibitor agrees to the terms of this Agreement and
    is consistent with the laws and the courts of the District of Columbia. Out of state vendors plan to arrive on time – Park regulations will be enforced.
