Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a current NCNOMA or NOMAS member
- Hold an active National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) record
- Be eligible to sit for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE)
Application Criteria
Applications should demonstrate one or more of the following, with active involvement in NCNOMA serving as a primary scoring factor:
- Contributions to the profession at an early career stage
- Exemplary involvement in community and/or professional organizations.
- Outstanding achievement in the creation, development, and delivery of creative programs for emerging professionals in architecture
- Passion for pursuit of architectural licensure
- Aspirations, why, what will hitting this milestone mean to you
Application Requirements
- Completed online application
- Personal Statement
- One professional biography and/or résumé
- Primary recommendation letter
- One additional recommendation letter from a colleague or supervisor
- Portfolio (optional)
- Supplemental information (optional)
- Proof of eligibility to sit for the ARE

- October 2026: Recipients Notified
- November 14, 2026: Gala Awards
