Come march with us! This year B3C will be walking in both the Clara Peoples Freedom Trail Parade on Saturday June 20th, 2026 and the Good in the Hood Parade March on Saturday June 27th, 2026!
Want to join a bunch of amazing Black queers in being visible to our city? Would you like to march in solidarity with the Black community? Maybe you just want to hand out candy and oranges because it's fun?? If this sounds like you, come on along!
There will be support opportunities for those with access needs around mobility. B3C staff and vetted individuals will help shuttle participants back to their vehicles after the parade ends.
We'll have (gluten-free vegan) donuts, extra sunscreen, and a free t-shirt ready for you!
Juneteenth March (Saturday June 20th) - We reserve this marching space at this event for those with lived experience as Queer & Trans Black/African American folx. We'll meet at the King School in NE Portland and walk approximately one mile south down MLK joining with other organizations and community groups in celebration of Black Liberation and community freedom. We ask that marchers arrive between 9-9:30am.The march begins around 10am, we generally step off by 10:30, and are finished by around 1pm.
Good in the Hood March (Saturday June 27th) - All Are Welcome! Bring your family & friends in allyship! We will meet near the intersection of MLK & Prescott and will march south to the intersection near MLK & Knott street. We ask that marchers arrive between 10:00-10:30am. The march begins around 11am, we expect to step off by 11:30, and to be finished by around 1:30-2:00pm.
