• 2026 Dancing "Cajun Coven" Membership Application

    The dancing "Cajun Coven" group will perform the witches dance during the Krewe Ga Rou parade on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. The nonrefundable membership fee is $25 per year. A maximum of 50 members will be accepted. Interested members are REQUIRED to audition for a spot by following the instructions below. Participants in this group should be able to physically dance the ~1 mile parade route.

  • How to apply to be a "dancing" witch:

    You MUST email an audition video via Facebook message to our Festival Page www.facebook.com/RougarouFest within five (5) days of completing this form. Membership applications will close on September 15, 2026. A reference video is provided below for participants to learn and practice the routine, and the same dance and music track from the reference video must be used for the audition submission. Selected participants will be notified by September 29, 2026. If you are not accepted into the dancing witches, you will be automatically transferred to the walking witches group.

  • Membership Fee:

    Each participant is required to pay a $25 yearly membership fee. This fee helps offset the cost of the required parade insurance. Participants are also encouraged to volunteer at the festival. All paid members will be given a wristband to be worn visibly at all times during the parade.
