Second Strike Rider Program Application 2.0

Second Strike is a combat veteran-founded 501(c)(3) focused on combating veteran isolation and suicide through motorcycles, community, and mentorship.

We work with GWOT era combat veterans, Military Sexual Trauma survivors, and Gold Star families. Through this program, we train individuals to ride, provide the required gear, and connect them to a community built around purpose and movement.

This is not a general interest form. It is an application.

We are intentional about who we bring into the program. We are looking for people who are ready to show up, be part of something bigger than themselves, and stay involved beyond just completing the course.

Please read before continuing:

• This program is only open to GWOT combat veterans, MST survivors, and Gold Star family members

• This program is intended for new riders who need training and required gear to get started. It is not a free gear program for experienced riders who already have a motorcycle license, ride regularly, and own gear

• Applicants are not required to have an honorable discharge, but Second Strike reserves the right to deny applications involving heinous acts, serious misconduct, or behavior that conflicts with the safety and integrity of our community

• Completing this application does not guarantee selection

• If selected, you will be expected to fully participate in training and stay engaged with the community.
