Awards will be presented at the Gala Dinner in recognition of the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations across the following categories:

Lifetime Achievement
For an individual whose sustained leadership and significant contribution have created lasting, culturally grounded impact and positive change in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health and vision care.

Outstanding Leadership
For an individual demonstrating strong leadership and influence, creating meaningful and culturally grounded change through collaboration, accountability and commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health.

Emerging Leadership
For an individual demonstrating emerging leadership and strong future potential through initiative, innovation, community and cultural grounding, early positive impact, collaboration and influence.

Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) Contribution
For an ACCHO demonstrating excellence in community-controlled service delivery through accessible and culturally safe care, trusted partnerships, innovation, continuous improvement and lasting benefits for community.

Exemplary Allyship
For an individual or organisation demonstrating genuine and accountable allyship through respect for First Nations leadership, culturally safe partnerships, tangible impact, sustained commitment and meaningful system change.

Young and Deadly
For a young leader demonstrating a strong voice and cultural identity, positive influence among their peers and community, initiative and advocacy, collaboration and positive role modelling.

Nominations require a maximun 300-word statement in support of the individual, group or organisation that is being nominated in addition to contact details of a supporting referre and those of the person making the nomination.
