We’re now accepting submissions for our 2026 Summer in the Sunset group show celebrating the creative spirit of the Outer Sunset. We’re looking for artists who live in or have a strong connection to the Outer Sunset, and whose work reflects the essence of our neighborhood—Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, the fog, the light, the mood, and our unique summer weather.
Form Submission Instructions
Submissions: You may submit up to 10 images of the work you'd like to feature.
Whether you’ve already created something that feels just right, or you’re inspired to make something specifically for the show, we’d love to see it.
We welcome a wide variety of mediums and styles.
Submission Deadline: Friday, June 26, 2026, by midnight.
Post-Submission: You will receive a response by Monday, July 6th, letting you know whether your work has been selected for the show. If selected, you’ll also receive an Artist Agreement to review and sign prior to drop-off.
Art Drop-Off: Selected artwork must be dropped off on Sunday, August 2nd or Monday, August 3rd (time tbd).
All artwork must be “hang-ready” with professional-grade hardware and framing.
We cannot accept plastic frames, tabletop frames (like these), or frames that are dirty or damaged.
Opening Celebration: Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 2 PM - 5 PM.
All participating artists are required to attend the opening celebration and sign up for at least one weekend gallery shift (Friday from 4–7pm, Saturday or Sunday from 1-5 PM).
Exhibit Duration: The show will hang for 5 weeks from Saturday, August 8, to Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Sales: If your work sells, we offer a 50/50 split, with the artist earning 50%.
