It is strongly recommended that each participant carefully review this section before completing the rest of the application.
Application process open to Louisiana residents who are attending a 4-year college, master’s program, doctorate program, or Votechnical/2-year college students are eligible to apply.
Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded to four (4) recipients.
It is recommended that all sections of the application be answered.
We recommend each nominee carefully consider what section of the application his or her information best fits. Duplication of information in more than one section will not be beneficial to the applicant in any way.
Information entered on the form should only consist of the nominee’s college years.
Please attach a current official transcript to the application.
Scholarship recipients will be notified via phone call, and scholarships will be publicly awarded on Saturday, September 26, 2026, during the LA Sugar Cane Festival Queen Sugar Pageant held at Westgate Auditorium. More details will be provided to recipients.
*Relatives of the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival & Fair Association Board of Directors are not eligible to apply.
*Contestants of Queen Sugar LXXXIII are not eligible to apply.
