    1. Entry fee of $30 per artist (non refundable)

    2. Artist biography (80 words max)

    3. Artwork statement (40 words max)

    4. Two images/photographs (at different angles) for each work

    PRIZES & AWARDS

    ·       $30,000 Sculptures in the Garden & Mid-Western Regional Council Acquisition Prize

    ·       $10,000 Friends of Sculptures in the Garden Acquisition Prize

    ·       $10,000 Fernside Pastoral Company Acquisition Prize

    The winning entries for these 3 major acquisition prizes will receive the allocated prize money and the artwork will become part of the Mid-Western Regional Council public art collection. Entries must be suitable for permanent outdoor installation and consideration will be given to safety of the work, transportation and installation requirements, ongoing maintenance and susceptibility to vandalism.

    ·       $5,000 Buchanan Mudgee Hospital Acquisition Prize

    The winning entry for the Buchanan Prize will receive $5,000 in prize money, and the artwork will be acquired by Mudgee Hospital to become part of its public art collection. Entries can be hanging or freestanding, and can be either indoor sculpture or outdoor-suitable pieces.

    ·       $2,000 Mudgee Region Tourism Small Sculpture Prize Acquisition Prize (for works under 15cm in any one direction)

    ·       $2,000 CAA Artistic Merit Prize (non-acquisition)

    ·       $500 People's Choice Award (non-acquisition)

    ·       $500 Young Sculptor Achievement Prize (non-acquisition prize for under 25yrs)

    ·       Exhibition at the Rosby Gallery in 2027 Prize

    ·       $300 The Sculptors Society Sensory Sculpture Prize (non-acquisition)
