Worcester Guildhall has been an important part of our historic city for 800 years.
The current building was completed in 1723, replacing a 13th Century hall, and stands on a site that has been occupied since the Roman period.
Over time, it has been used as council offices, a court, a prison, and a place for public events.
Today, visitors to the Guildhall can enjoy its impressive Assembly Room, historic Court Room and even step into the cells during Heritage Open Days.
