2027 Board of Directors and ACMS Delegate Nomination Ballot

Nominate candidates for the 2027 Board of Directors and ACMS Delegate positions. Please complete the form as per the instructions. All fields are optional unless otherwise indicated. Completed forms are due by July 15, 2026.
The Allegheny County Medical Society is looking for motivated individuals interested in joining our leadership team to develop our Society to meet the future needs of our members and community. ACMS is now seeking candidates for the 2027 ACMS Board of Directors and 2027 ACMS Delegates to the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Position Descriptions
Term year begins: January 1, 2027

1. Board of Directors
Members of the Board of Directors at-large shall be elected for a term of three years. Five Directors shall be elected each year. No Director may serve more than two consecutive full terms.

* Represents physicians on issues impacting the practice of medicine and makes policy decisions for the Society.
* Meets four times per year, special meetings as needed.
* Three-year term.

2. Delegate/Alternate Delegate to the PAMED Society House of Delegates:
Delegates to the Pennsylvania Medical Society shall be elected for a term of two years; approximately one-half of the required number of Delegates shall be elected each year.

The Delegation to the Pennsylvania Medical Society has the responsibility of representing the members of the Allegheny County Medical Society to the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. It shall have the further duty of presenting to the House of Delegates the resolution(s) presented to it by the Board of Directors of the Allegheny County Medical Society.

* Represents the physicians of Allegheny County in creating statewide policy on issues impacting physicians, patients and the practice of medicine.
* Meets as necessary prior to attending the House of Delegates in October in Hershey, PA.
* Two-year term with a three term limit.
* Alternate Delegates are elected for a term of one year. Unlimited one-year terms.

Eligibility Confirmation: I confirm that the nominee(s) are willing to serve if elected.
Please submit a nomination statement highlighting the nominee’s leadership, experience, and potential contributions to the Allegheny County Medical Society Board of Directors or Delegation.
Once your nomination form is received, the ACMS team will follow up with you and/or the nominee to request a CV and headshot. If you would prefer, you may also upload those materials now using the fields below.

All nominations received by July 15 will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee, with the final slate of candidates approved by August 1. The ACMS election will open on September 6, 2026 and remain open for one week. Election results will be announced following the September 15 ACMS Board Meeting.
