Junior & Teen Camp
A fun-filled, action-packed week!
Schedule
Departure: The bus leaves the new facility at 10:30 AM on Monday morning.
Return: The bus returns by noon on Friday morning.
Opening Orientation: Takes place in the chapel at 12:30 PM on Monday. All campers and counselors must attend.
Meals: Lunch on Monday through breakfast on Friday will be provided.
Packing List
Clothing:
Comfortable sneakers for activities
Sandals for casual wear
Flip-flops for the shower
Modest swimwear (see below)
Play clothes for 5 days
Optional “Business casual” clothes for the evening service
Personal Items:
Bible
Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, hairbrush or comb, and any other personal hygiene products
Towels and washcloths
Sleeping bag and pillow
Reusable water bottle
Flashlight
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Laundry bag
Any necessary prescription medications (with a copy of the prescription)
Small backpack or daypack for activities
Musical instrument if competing.
Items Not Allowed:
Expensive or irreplaceable items
Electronic media devices (including cell phones), books, guns, knives, fireworks, weapons of any kind
Camp Rules
- Electronic devices and media are not permitted.
- Physical contact between male and female campers is not permitted.
- Clothing must be biblically modest and gender distinctive; clothing should not include vulgarity, sinful pictures/depictions, secular music or movie references.
- Men: Shirt and pants must be worn for chapel and activities. Shorts can be worn in and around the cabin and in the pool. If you wish to participate in the platform talent competitions, bring a collared shirt to wear and have hair cut off of the ears and collar. No jewelry except for rings allowed.
- Ladies: Skirts, Skorts, or dresses must be worn at all times. They must fully cover the knee when sitting. Shirts must be loose fitting, cover the midriff and stay close to the collar bone at all times. No underclothes should be visible at any time. Swimwear must include a shirt and knee length swim skirt/swim skort, or knee length “mod” athletic wear.
Respect and purity must be shown at all times.
Male and female campers or counselors must never be alone or in an unlit area together.
All campers and counselors must stay in the allowed and supervised areas at all time. All campers and counselors must be in their supervised cabins by curfew and must not leave the cabin until 6:30am.
All campers and counselors must sleep in their own individual beds.
All attendees 18 years old and older must complete the children’s worker policy training and pass a background check.
Parents' Note
Thank you for sending your child to MABC Summer Camp! We promise to ensure your child's safety and well-being during their stay. Please ensure your child understands and agrees to abide by all camp rules. Breaking camp rules can lead to being sent home at your expense. We love youth and want to help and minister to them!

TEEN AND JUNIORS Platform Competition Information:
You may register your camper for this competation at the link provided upon registration.
Platform Competitions Include:
Vocal and Instrumental Music: Male Solos, Male Duets, Male Trios, Female Solos, Female Duets, Female Trios, Ensembles, and instrumentals
Dramatic Bible Reading
Bible Memory
Preaching
Girls Crafts
Guys Woodworking or Metal Work
Competition Guidelines:
Each camper may compete in no more than three categories.
A camper may not compete against themselves in the same category.
Dress clothes are not required for competitions; students may compete in their camp clothes. (With the exception of preaching. Preacher boys must wear a collared shirt.)
All song selections must be appropriate for church.
Memory passages should be 5-10 consecutive verses.
Dramatic Bible Reading should be at least 21 verses.
Preaching will be limited to 3.5 minutes.
