TCAF Self-Nomination Form
TCAF provides unrestricted financial support to visual artists who demonstrate innovation, creativity, and a commitment to expanding their artistic practice. Grants are typically awarded in amounts between $250 and $2,500, with the final amount determined on a case-by-case basis. Artists may self-nominate up to twice a year.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications are evaluated based on (1) demonstrated experimentation, risk-taking, or a commitment to developing work beyond immediate commercial pressures (2) the quality of the artist’s work (3) potential to expand creative inquiry and (4) clarity of the applicant’s statement and intended use of funds.
