Idea Submission Form
  • TogetherTuesday is GivingTuesday's new summer day of community action, falling this year on Tuesday, June 23. The national invitation is simple: show up for the people around you in a way that's easy and meaningful. Give Pikes Peak is bringing it home to the Pikes Peak Region by hosting one landing page where residents can browse simple actions submitted by local nonprofits and pick a way to participate.

We're asking each of you to share 1 or 2 actions a regular person could take on June 23 that supports your mission. The bar is intentionally low. We want ideas that are doable in an hour or less, require no training, no application, and no advance commitment. Think generosity of presence, not fundraising. The strongest ideas are concrete (a specific item to drop off, a specific time, a specific place) and easy for someone to do alone or with a friend.

Please put all of the details into the idea box as I will be copying them directly to the website under your name. Think address, timing, instructions. You can put a link to a specific project/wishlist as well.

Here are some ideas of what we are looking for to get you started:

    • Organize a small donation drive with your friends- We need XYZ that can be dropped off between the hours of 10-4 on Tuesday, June 23rd
    • Show up for one hour. Pull weeds with us at our community garden between 9am and 12pm on June 23. Bring a friend.
    • Connect with a neighbor by dropping off donuts/treat
    • Do a trash pick up walk on your lunch break on your favorite trail or neighborhood
    • Shop our Amazon WishList (included link)
  • Should be Empty:
