Additional members
- Camp is free for each child with Type 1 Diabetes and one parent or guardian.
- To attend, you must become a member of Diabetes Incorporated ($10 per family).
- Pay a $50 registration reservation fee / cleaning deposit (refundable after camp if there are no issues).
- If you have 2 kids with Type 1, you pay one $50 registration reservation fee plus one $10 membership (total $60).
- Pay $100 for extra family members.
- Kids 3 and under are free.
What the fee covers: Meals, snacks, drinks, lodging, horseback riding, pony rides, art classes, craft classes, canoeing, rock climbing, t-shirts, and more.

Please share any comments about your camp registration or lodging needs below. Keep in mind: - This is a camp setting, so it can be noisy at times — please be respectful of others. - Bathrooms are shared. - Bring your own bedding (sheets or a sleeping bag). - Bed types vary: no king beds — only queens, singles, or bunks. - Each family has their own bedroom, but no air conditioning is provided. - Nights are usually cool, but you may want to bring a fan. - Lodging assignments will be shared at least 2 weeks before camp.
Do you have any questions you'd like to ask our adult panel of people living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D)? A panel is a Q&A (question and answer) session where a group of adults with T1D will share their personal experiences and answer your questions. During the panel session, we will separate the groups: Parents will be with one panel, boy campers with a male panelist, girl campers with a female panelist. You can submit questions here in advance, or ask them during the panel at camp.

I, the undersigned, know that camping can involve risk of personal injury. I agree that as a participant, it is my responsibility to take an active role in understanding and accepting these risks, conditions, and hazards for my own safety and that of my child. I hereby assume all risk for loss, damage or injury to myself, my child, and my property from any cause whatsoever. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety and that of my child while participating in the “Kamp for Kids” camp. I hereby waive, release, hold harmless, and discharge any and all claims for death, personal injury, or property damage which I may have or which may hereafter accrue to me or my child as a result of my participation in the “Kamp for Kids” camp. I hereby discharge, in advance, the organizers, sponsors, any affiliated organizations, and the respective volunteers, agents and employees of any of the above from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in this event. I hereby authorize any staff member of the “Kamp for Kids” camp to provide emergency medical treatment or seek emergency care for myself or any member of my family should the need arise.
