Volunteer Roles

Here is a detailed description of each role. Please indicate what your preferences are.

CREW LEADER: Supervises a crew of campers, leads them from one activity to another, sits together at mass, signs them out at pickup, etc. Ideally these volunteers are available all four days of camp.

ASSISTANT CREW LEADER: Would not have to be available all four days. Great for teens!

DRAMA: This includes helping with creating props/stage setup, acting in skits, or narrator. Great for teens!

GAMES: Assist camper crew in outdoor games.

MUSIC: Assist campers in learning music and hand motions.

KITCHEN: Assist in preparing, serving, and clean up of snacks.

For those with us all 4 days, both teen and adult volunteers will receive a free camp t-shirt for VBS. Please select size.

All volunteers, ages 16+, will need to have completed Rockford Diocese Safe Environment Program before VBS begins. If you have not already completed this program, you will receive an email with details on how to do so.
