    15-18 Age Group Championships February 25-28, 2027 (3 ½ Days Trials/Finals)

Qualifying times slightly below the New England Seniors championship meet and open exclusively to 15-18 athletes who have not competed for a college team during the current swim year.

This meet is scheduled to allow Sectionals qualifiers to attend within typical training cycles to maximize participation from New England teams.

New England Cup:  March 12-14, 2027 (2 ½ Days Trials/Finals, No Qualifying times, subject to entry caps)- 3 Sites Needed

This is a 2.5 day meet likely with 1 session on Friday evening, 3 on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday. The meet is designed to allow for trials/finals experiences for swimmers while offering all events to athletes.

There are no qualifying times for the New England cup, and the meet is scheduled one week later than last year to allow coaches a weekend break after championships and extend training for swimmers another week into March.

To meet all these goals, the New England Cup requires a DIFFERENT format than traditional meets. Prelims for multiple 11 & Over events take place on FRIDAY evening with their finals on Saturday & Sunday. 11&Over Swimmers are limited to 3 events per day (not including finals from prior days). 10&U Swimmers can enter up to 6 events per day.

In addition, the New England Cup meet offers high point awards by stroke/IM/distance for each age group. Swimmers must swim all three events for their age group to qualify for these specialized awards. Teams are encouraged (but not required) to bring swimmers of all levels, with their higher level athletes focusing on off events.

All bids must be received before June 22, 2026 to be considered.

  • There will be a limit of one sanction awarded per weekend for one host club at one pool. For the purpose of this policy, a weekend is defined as Thursday through Sunday. Only one participation fee per sanction is allowed.

  • Championship Meets*
  • In submitting this bid, the host understands that New England Swimming cannot guarantee a specific number of teams, swimmers, entries, or entry-fee revenue for any end-of-season meet.

For meets with assigned sites, including Bronze, Silvers, and New England Cup, New England Swimming may ask each host to identify the number of swimmers or entries the site can reasonably support. That information helps New England Swimming make site assignments and manage meet capacity, but it is not a guarantee that the assigned teams will ultimately enter the meet or that the meet will reach that capacity.

New England Swimming will ask clubs selecting a site to provide a good-faith estimate of expected athletes and to make reasonable efforts to enter a similar number in the meet. Clubs that materially reduce their expected entries without timely notice and/or without a reasonable explanation may be subject to review by New England Swimming.

Once sites are assigned, meet hosts are expected to communicate with assigned clubs and the New England Swimming office as needed to support participation and encourage timely entries. Final attendance and entry numbers will ultimately depend on club decisions, athlete eligibility, scheduling conflicts, and other factors outside the control of New England Swimming.
