Informed Consent for Housing Needs Assessment Survey
Thank you for taking the time to complete this brief survey. Refugee Housing Solutions (RHS) is gathering insights from landlords and property managers to better understand opportunities and challenges related to renting to newcomers, including refugees, asylees, humanitarian parolees, and other individuals eligible for services funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). These populations are legally authorized to live and work in the United States and often receive short‑term support from resettlement agencies as they secure stable housing and employment. You can learn more about ORR-eligible populations and related benefits here.
This survey should be completed by anyone who considers themselves a landlord or property manager in the United States.
Your input is essential. By sharing your experiences, you help shape practical resources and learning opportunities that make renting to refugees, asylees, humanitarian parolees, and other newcomers legally authorized to live and work in the United States, easier, more efficient, and better supported. Your insights directly inform the support offered by RHS, so they can help to streamline the rental process, reduce administrative burden, and strengthen partnerships that benefit both property owners and tenants.
Ultimately, your feedback helps create solutions that support your business: clearer communication, smoother leasing processes, and better-prepared tenants who are set up for long-term housing success.
The survey should take approximately 12-15 minutes to complete. Your responses will be kept confidential and reported only in aggregate. There are no right or wrong answers; we are interested in your honest perspectives and experiences.
