BE A PART OF THE WONDERFUL INITIATIVE TO BEAUTIFY THE DOWNTOWN AREA BY PLANTING THE FLOWERS!
The placemaking committee is looking for volunteers for this wonderful community activity! Join them downtown, Saturday, May 30th at the Gazebo. Planting will begin at 9AM. Over 30 planters will be planted with annual summer flowers. Come prepared to help with all the planting needs: gloves, milk jugs full of water, digger, broom, extra bucket(s) to place old dirt in and trash bags for debris. If you do not have these supplies, that is okay! Melody with the placemaking committee will be in touch with additional details and updates closer to the event. There will be a brief orientation session prior to planting to explain the task and to answer any questions.
