  • 2026 Mehdi Heydari Award for Credentialing Excellence

    The CMAA Award for Credentialing Excellence recognizes an individual member: service provider, or owner who demonstrates exceptional leadership and commitment to credentials, professional development, and the advancement of the program and construction management profession through credentialing.
  • Eligibility

    • Nominees must be CMAA members in good standing.
    • Nominees must hold a CMCI credential.
    • This award may only go to an individual.
    • Current members of the CMAA Board of Directors, the CMAA Foundation Board of Directors, and the CMCI Board of Governors are not eligible for this award.
    • No individual may receive the award more than once.

    Criteria

    This award recognizes:

    • Promoting the value of credentialed professionals with owners and service providers.
    • Promoting and encouraging others to earn and maintain a CMCI credential.
    • Meaningful contributions to the advancement of the profession through mentoring, advocating, promotion, and selecting PM/CM professionals with CMCI credentials.
    • Engagement with CMAA, or CMCI and carrying out their respective missions.

    • A 1,200-word narrative that describes how the individual meets the purpose and criteria listed above. Be specific. Include a summary of how the nominee has contributed to CMAA or the CMAA Foundation (or both if appropriate).
    • One letter of support from the nominator submitting and supporting the nomination.
    • At least two and not more than four signatures endorsing the nomination. These should be from CMAA members in good standing with knowledge of the nominee, their record of achievement, and the effect of their efforts.

Those individuals can sign in the correct field in Section 3 and then click Save.  Once the signatures of support have been completed, then you can click on SUBMIT to complete your submission packet.
