Mingle & Play 2026

Mingle & Play is BC Family Hearing Resource Society’s annual summer family event. This is an indoor/outdoor event that will take place on Saturday & Sunday July 25th and 26th, 2026 from 10:00am – 1:00pm at our Surrey Centre (15220 – 92nd Avenue, Surrey, BC V3R 2T8) come rain or shine!

The event is for families with young children (0-5 years old) who are currently receiving services from BC Family Hearing Resource Society (BCFHRS), Children's Hearing and Speech Centre (CHSC), and Communication Stars Specialized Childcare (CSSC). Parent participation is required!

There will be a Kindergarten corner at Mingle & Play specifically for children entering school this year and next year. We will have a fun activity for families, along with information on our PEER Kindergarten Transition program. Guests from Provincial Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services will join us to share about their services for school-aged children and their families. Eligible families will receive more information by email.

Registration is required for this event – please register below. Registration deadline: July 15th.

Lunch will be provided. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. While we can accommodate some requests (e.g., vegetarian, no pork), we may not be able to accommodate all dietary needs. Please bring your own light lunch or snack if you have strict dietary needs. Please also note that all our centres are nut-free facilities.
