I acknowledge my understanding that there are many known and unknown dangers and/or risks associated with responding to 9-1-1 calls while working in an emergency medical service, including but not limited to exposure to infectious diseases (such as AIDS, Hepatitis, SARS-CoV-2 (COVID- 19) ), potentially hazardous materials, proximity to subjects detained by law enforcement, operations of emergency vehicles in potentially substandard weather conditions. All of which may lead to serious bodily harm or death.
