  • 2026-2027 Taste & Teach $250 Award

Utah Agriculture in the Classroom's “Taste and Teach” program helps bring Utah agriculture to life through hands-on food experiences in the classroom. This award provides selected teachers with funding of $250 to purchase Utah-grown or Utah-made foods that allow students to taste, explore, and learn about the people, products, and stories behind Utah agriculture. From fresh fruits and vegetables to dairy, beef, popcorn, honey, and more, “Taste and Teach” helps students make meaningful connections between local agriculture, science, nutrition, culture, and the food they eat every day.
