'Be Seen, Be Heard, Belong' - Sailing Session, Fermanagh, 2026
  • HER Outdoors Week 11th -17th August

    As part of the ‘Be Seen, Be Heard, Belong’ campaign, we are celebrating women and girls in the outdoors from 8th June to 14th June 2026. We are working in partnership with The Lough Erne Yacht Club to offer women and girls the opportunity to come and try Sailing.

  • Join us for a relaxed, one‑hour women’s sailing taster session designed for complete beginners or anyone curious about getting on the water. No previous experience is needed—just come along, have a go, and enjoy something new in a supportive environment.

    What to expect: During your 1‑hour taster session, you will:

    • Meet our qualified and friendly instructors
    • Receive a short safety briefing and introduction to the boat
    • Learn basic sailing skills such as steering and handling sails
    • Spend time out on the water, either helming or crewing
    • Gain confidence in a safe, supportive and inclusive setting

    Our aim is to give you a fun and welcoming first experience of sailing. If you enjoy your session and would like to continue, there will be an Adult Sailing Course running in July, which taster session participants can book onto at a discounted rate.
