The following Agreement will help you acknowldge and understand the essential rules for the Farm Share Tokens. To participate, please read the agreement, answer the True & False questions and sign stating you understand .

NOTE: Only applications answered with 100% accuracy can be submitted for approval.

Farm Share Agreement

Farm Share: The farm is committed to growing a variety of high-quality produce best suited to thrive in South Florida's climate and soil type. Harvests are divided equally between Arden households through the Farm Share program. The size of the farm share is designed to remain the same over time, is based on the acreage available and accommodates all of the homes at Arden.

Seasonality: Farming is very site specific. We intentionally pick varieties well suited for tropical climates, that are resistant to pests and disease, and that tolerate more alkaline, sandy soils.

Token Distribution:

Occurs at the Lakehouse and Barn. New residents can pick up their tokens along with their Welcome Package at the Lakehouse.

The number of Tokens you receive is prorated based on when you come in to pickup your tokens during the growing year regardless of your move in date. Residents will benefit the most by signing and picking up at the season opening.

In Season: Signup will begin mid October. The official Farm Share season kicks off November 1st and goes though May. Though we stop harvesting vegetables May 15th we will continue having the produce in the store until it is all gone.

Out of Season: During the off season from Mid May to September 30th, new residents can still sign up and receive one token.

You must have closed on and moved into your home to receive tokens.

Residents are responsible for Signing up and picking up their new tokens annually.

Residents may share unused tokens with whomever they’d like.

How Many Tokens: Each household is eligible to receive up to 30 tokens per season.

How Tokens can be Used:

Tokens can be redeemed for Arden grown vegetables, herbs and some fruits in the General Store, or at special events in the Arden community where the farmers have produce for sale.

Choose whatever type of available Arden produce that you want during the season.

No change is given. If you choose one (1) bundle of an herb that costs 1/2 token you will be charged a full token.

No replacements for lost, stolen or damaged tokens.

Expiration Date: Tokens from the prior season expire October 31st.

General Store Hours: Subject to change. Please refer to the What's Sprouting eNewsletter for current hours.

Residents that lease a home(s): Arden Residents thats own multiple homes or rent the home must pass on the Farm Share benefit to their tenants. Only one Farm Share is permitted per address.

Food Safety: We take food safety seriously. For your added protection, wash all produce before eating.

Crop Failure: We promise to do our best to provide you with a quality Farm Share. The quantity of produce, however, may vary from week to week due to extreme weather, insects, and other production factors outside our control. As a community member of Arden, each resident must understand the risk of crop failure typical to all farm operations.
