Now more than ever, we need arts heroes. We need arts teachers who inspire a child for a lifetime; the communities where the arts make it a great place to live, work and create; leaders who make the arts happen; artists and arts organizations whose creativity makes us glad to be alive; and the philanthropists whose generosity makes it possible.

You may be one yourself.

Who is eligible?

Missourians who have made profound and lasting contributions to the cultural and artistic climate of the state. Individuals, organizations, or community nominees must reside in Missouri to be eligible.

How to Nominate

Nominees may self-nominate in every category. This is recommended to avoid duplication of nominations and to ensure accuracy and completeness. Only in the Leadership in the Arts and Philanthropy categories will we accept external nominations, although self-nominations are still recommended. Multiple nominations will be combined, and nominees will be informed to ensure accuracy and consent. Make sure that the narrative and supplemental materials are tailored for the nomination category.
