• Operation Homefront Las Vegas 2026 Back-to-School Brigade® Event in Partnership with the Nevada National Guard Child & Youth Programs

  • Back-to-School Brigade® is an annual nationwide program by Operation Homefront that provides backpacks and school supplies to eligible dependents of service members and post-9/11 wounded, ill, and injured veterans.

    When: Saturday, July 25, 2026
    Where: North Las Vegas Readiness Center (6600 Range Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89165)
    What: Supporting 400 military-connected children and their families.

    Tentative Schedule
    8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. | Community Partner Table Setup
    10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Event Open to Registered Military Families
    2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Event Teardown

    Note: Community partners are asked to be fully set up by 9:30 a.m. and remain throughout the entire event.

    Operation Homefront/NV National Guard will Provide:
    We will provide community partners with:

    • One (1) 4-6 ft. table
    • Two (2) chairs
    • Certificate of Appreciation
      *Please notify us if you need additional chairs or access to an outlet.

    You're Encouraged to Bring

    • Tablecloth & Signage
    • Informational materials, giveaways and/or fun activity

    Amanda Castilliano (Operation Homefront West Region Sr. Regional Operations Manager) and Elizabeth Erway (Lead Child & Youth Program Coordinator) will reach out as the event date approaches with details for an optional online meeting for all community partners invited to attend. During the meeting, we will review the event run of show and answer any questions. You will also receive a reminder email, event map, and event waiver for signature prior to the event.
