  • Application Process

    Apply now for the Senior Center Dress Rehearsal for Nabucco, which will be held Thursday, February 25, 2027 at 2:00pm.

    The application deadline for this program is Monday, November 2, 2026 at 5:00pm.

    Please note that this program is reserved for centers that receive government funding.

    Notification of the center’s application status will be sent by email in early December 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

    *All accepted centers must send a staff representative to a mandatory orientation Zoom meeting on Friday, January 22, 2027 from 10:30am to 12:00pm.

    Guidelines and Ticketing

    • Tickets are for groups of 10-40 seniors age 55 and older (or the applicable age at your center).
    • No late submissions. One application per senior center. Only complete applications will be considered. Receipt of application does not guarantee tickets.
    • Only groups that receive government funding will be selected for participation.
    • Transportation is not provided by LA Opera. Senior groups are responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to and from the event.
    • Wheelchair and aisle seating is limited.
    • Senior Center Dress Rehearsal tickets are free to senior centers. Tickets may not be sold, transferred or exchanged for donations.
    • No tickets will be available at the door.
    • LA Opera reserves the right to refuse admission to senior centers on the basis of behavior or attendance problems.
