  • Day Camp Attendance & Pick-Up Times Policy

    Attendance Matters
Our camp space is limited and staffing, transportation, meals, activities, and supervision are planned based on enrollment and attendance, consistent participation is extremely important.

When campers are absent without notice or repeatedly arrive outside of scheduled times, it impacts:

    • Camp programming and staffing
    • Safety and supervision ratios
    • Transportation and activity schedules
    • Other families waiting for available spots

We ask families to partner with us by ensuring campers attend consistently and arrive and depart on time.

    Attendance Expectations
Campers are expected to attend daily unless they are:

    • Sick, contagious, vomiting, having diarrhea, experiencing fever
    • Experiencing an emergency
    • Participating in an approved absence communicated to camp leadership

Parents/guardians should notify the camp as soon as possible if a camper will be absent or late.

    Unexcused Absences
An absence may be considered unexcused if:

    • The camp is not notified
    • No reasonable explanation is provided
    • Repeated absences occur without communication

Because camp enrollment is limited and many families may be waiting for placement:

    • Three (3) unexcused absences may result in loss of the camper’s spot in the program.

Camp administration reserves the right to review attendance patterns and determine continued enrollment eligibility.

    Arrival & Pick-Up Times
Families are expected to follow designated drop-off and pick-up times.

For the safety of campers and staff scheduling:

    • Arriving more than 15 minutes early or more than 15 minutes late for drop-off or pick-up will result in the following fees:
      • First occurrence: $10 fee
      • More than one occurrence within the same week: $50 fee for that week

These fees help offset additional staffing and supervision costs incurred outside scheduled camp operating times.

    Outstanding Fees
Campers with unpaid late/early pick-up fees may be:

    • Temporarily suspended from attendance
    • Restricted from participating in activities
    • Removed from the program if fees remain unpaid

Camp attendance may resume once outstanding balances are paid.

    Communication & Partnership
We understand emergencies and unexpected situations happen. Our goal is not punishment — it is maintaining a safe, reliable, and respectful environment for all campers, families, and staff.

Clear communication helps us support your child successfully.

Thank you for partnering with us to create a positive and dependable camp experience for everyone.
