NYC CCW Permit Renewal & Requalification ($249)

The NYC 2-Hour Renewal Live Fire Re-Certification service is designed for licensed New York City concealed carry permit holders who are required to complete periodic live-fire training as part of their permit renewal process. This focused session ensures continued compliance with New York State and NYC regulations while reinforcing safe firearm handling and shooting proficiency.

New York State requires concealed carry permit holders to complete a 2-hour live-fire re-certification every three years, while New York City enforces this requirement more strictly requiring concealed carry permit holders to complete a 2-hour live-fire re-certification every 3 years, in addition to renewing their license. This training must be completed within each 3-year licensing cycle to remain in compliance. It is recommended that participants complete this requirement a few months prior to their renewal deadline to avoid any lapse in eligibility.

This re-certification consists of a 2-hour live-fire range session conducted under the supervision of a qualified instructor. Participants will be guided through structured shooting exercises that emphasize firearm safety, proper handling, accuracy, and control. The training is conducted in a safe, controlled environment and is tailored to meet state-mandated renewal requirements.

During the session, instructors will review core safety principles, including safe loading and unloading procedures, trigger discipline, and situational awareness. Participants will also receive coaching on marksmanship fundamentals such as stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control, helping to maintain and improve skill levels.

This service is intended for individuals who have already completed the initial 18-hour concealed carry course and are seeking to maintain compliance with ongoing training requirements. Proof of prior certification and a valid or expiring permit is be required prior to participation.

Upon successful completion of the live-fire qualification, participants will receive the necessary documentation to satisfy the renewal training requirement for their NYC concealed carry permit.

The goal of this re-certification is to ensure that permit holders remain proficient, responsible, and fully compliant with the laws and safety standards governing concealed carry in New York City/State.
