Volunteering under 14
We require youth who are age 13 and under to have a parent/guardians permission to volunteer. Anyone under 12 must volunteer with a guardian/parent present. If you are under 14, please have your parent/guardian complete this application and add you as a family wanting to volunteer, so that we have their information.

Scheduling Needs
2 Days of Festival Events, Means many days of Volunteer needs
This year, we have several days over the festival weekend in which we need all the hands we can get. Some days are just help setting up/tear down for the festival and events, others are working during the event activity. If you volunteer for a total of 6 or more hours during the weekend, we will cover a meal purchased through one of participating festival Food/Drink Vendors, Sunday, October 4th. Please indicate any/all days you are available to Volunteer. A dialog box will generate for each day selected to indicate times, you are available.

Volunteer Application Agreements
Some things to know prior to volunteer agreement. Ogden Pride provides water and a safe space for our volunteers before/after/during all shifts. We are welcoming to all, including those who may need accessibilities. As an Ogden Pride volunteer, you agree to the following:
I understand and agree that submitting this application does not automatically register me as an Ogden Pride volunteer, and that there may be certain qualifications I must meet, including the acceptance of established volunteer policies and procedures before I may begin volunteering.We will have several opportunities for volunteers to help between now and August 3rd. You will receive an email when those opportunities come up.

Ogden Pride reserves the right to do a criminal background check on all volunteers. Anyone who does not pass a background check will not be allowed to volunteer. Any information gathered during a background check will remain confidential.

I know that I will be REQUIRED to attend a festival volunteer training meeting prior to the festival. This meeting is being held on July 12th or 19th, 2025, in person. I will receive more information from the volunteer coordinator.

At the Ogden Pride Festival, we will provide you with a Pride Festival Volunteer T-shirt and name badge that must be worn during your shift. No alterations may be made to the shirt. You must changed into an alternate shirt after your shift is over.

Absolutely no consuming of illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages, 4 HOURS before you attend any Ogden Pride events as a volunteer and during any part of your shift. There is no consuming alcoholic beverages while wearing your volunteer shirt or name badge.
