Come learn some tunes from Ireland, Scotland, and surrounding regions the traditional folk way: by ear!
When you sign up, you'll receive: a 75-minute in-person group class, plus sheet music, chords/harmony when applicable, a full-speed performance video of each tune for inspiration, and an exclusive full playback tutorial video for re-learning or refreshing the tune emailed after the class.
These in-person workshops are taught by Boise-local Celtic musician, Rachel Sulik, and geared for lower-intermediate to advanced musicians. If you're new to learning by ear, still come and immerse yourself in this method! You'll get better with practice! Sheet music will be emailed at the end of the series.
While these are fiddle-forward workshops, all melodic Celtic instruments are welcome (mandolin, bouzouki, squeezebox, harp, fingerstyle guitar, cello, etc.)
Pre-requisites: A minimum of lower-intermediate skills on your instrument, curiosity for this method of learning, and a spirit of playfulness! Sign up below to join the fun!
