Netis Group (https://netisgroup.net/) manages operations across 17 high-growth countries, overseeing thousands of sites throughout West, Central and East Africa. In their efforts to create decent jobs, Netis Group and WEC Outsourcing partnered to quickly respond to the need of experienced and trained technicians to support in telecom infrastructure, managed services, and energy. At this stage, we want to train more than 200 technicians to make sure that we have ready-to-work experienced and trained technicians. As such, WEC Outsourcing and Jobra are actively looking for young technicians who would be interested in our sponsored/funded technical training in Fiber Optic, IT Networking & Internet, Energy, etc.

Thank you for applying for the WEC Outsourcing training. The aim of this training is to create a ready-to-work pipeline team of experienced and trained technicians for telecom technical services included tower maintenance, fiber optic deployment and maintenance, etc.

Requirements:
- Availability
The training last for 6-months maximum and trainees will be exposed to real work on field. So, this requires 100% availability and absenteism is prohibited unless excused due to force majeure.
- Technical Skills
We are looking for telecom support technicians, so advanced technical skills are paramount and hence looking for best performing technical schools' graduates.
- Competition
Selection will be highly competitive and very transparent. In fact, we only have 40 scholarships. So, highest competition is key in selecting 40 from all applicants. On another hand, we also have the Career Opportunity Fund (COF) which pays for studies and the recipient will only payback if he/she gets job earning minimum 200,000 Rwf per month. Since COF is tied-up to employment, recipients must be very competitive to qualify.
- Gendar
It's very important to point out that female are encouraged to apply since we want them to be represented in the telecom industry. However, requirements will still apply regardless of the gendar.
- English communication
An advanced english communication is highly needed and selection will mostly base on this after considering the technical knowldge/skills.
- Application Deadline
Due to the urgency of the project, the application deadline is set to 23th May 2026. The trainin will start on 29th May 2026.
