In selling these items, are you acting in a personal capacity or running a business?
As you are not running a business and you are selling items in a personal capacity you will need to fill out a 'Statement by Supplier form' from the ATO website.

We suggest the below option from the 'reasons for not providing ABN' however please consider your personal circumstances.

The supplier is not entitled to an ABN as they are not carrying on an enterprise in Australia.

This form will enable Gowings to pay you for the goods sold into your nominated Australian bank account without you having to provide an ABN or invoice.
