Join us for a relaxed, two‑hour women’s social cycle, ideal for complete beginners or anyone looking to get back into cycling. No previous experience is required just come along, give it a go, and enjoy trying something new.
The session is designed to be friendly, supportive, and pressure‑free, with a comfortable pace that allows everyone to take part and enjoy the ride.
What to expect: During your 2‑hour social cycle, you will:
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming 5 km social cycle around the Castle Archdale family‑friendly route. This session is suitable for ladies and girls of all abilities and is designed to be enjoyable, supportive, and pressure‑free.
The cycle will be led by a qualified Triathlon Ireland Coach, who will guide the group and ensure a safe and comfortable pace throughout.
After the cycle, we’ll come together for a social chat over tea and coffee. There will also be an informal discussion about open water swimming, including an introduction to how to take part safely and confidently.
What to Bring:
- A Road- Worthy Bike (You do not need a specific type of bike- a mountain bike or bybrid bike is absoluetly fine)
- A Helmet
- Weather appropriate and comfortable sports clothing
- Bottle of Water
