1. When completing an official application, Tiny Miss contestants must pay the entrance fee of $75. contestants must submit the completed application form, fee and photograph at that time. Application deadline: July 19, 2025.
2. Contestants must be between the ages of 3 and 4 at the time of the pageant. The Tiny Miss division is open statewide
3. A panel of three qualified judges will select the winner and runners up. The decision of the judges is FINAL. The number of contestants determines the number of runners-up awards given out. NO scoring sheets or Judges Notes are given out. Noting therefore; the committee
and the chairman do not have any influence on the pageant outcome and will never give out names or information of any kind associated with the judging procedure.
4. A Photogenic Award will be presented; This category will be judged by a Professional Photographer and/or judges prior to the pageant and awarded at the end of the pageant.
5. Contestants should be on time from all rehearsals and pageant functions. NO dropping of contestants is permitted. A parent or guardian should be present at ALL TIMES.
6. Contestants are not excused from rehearsals or pageant activities unless an emergency arises. Please contact the pageant chairman to be excused. Her decision is final.
7. The winner of the Tiny Miss will be judged on personality, overall appearance, poise in a gown as well as onstage questions (i.e. what is your favorite color?). The evening gown must be short. This is a natural pageant. NO hairpieces, flippers etc. Any questions on what is or isn’t allowed please ask the director.
8. The Tiny Miss will make a commitment to serve a full year representing the Monongalia County Fair in as many parades and activities as possible while promoting the fair. We will give you notice on upcoming parades, and activities throughout the year to attend. If you want to attend an event, please let the Director know of the event. The winner is responsible for signing up themselves for the parades.
9.ONE Parent or HMUA ONLY will be allowed backstage to help a contestant during the pageant. There will be an exit curtain backstage for the one person to exit and watch the pageant then return to help the contestant. NO OTHER PERSON is allowed backstage during the pageant. We are looking out for children’s safety and the valuables that are backstage.
10. Once the Application of the contestant is turned in, no changes will be made to the form.
11. Contestants should be present for meetings and rehearsals. Please notify the Director if you cannot make rehearsals.
12. A meeting of the contestants and parents will be held prior to the contest, more details will be sent out.
By submitting this form I certify that I have read, understand and will abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Monongalia County Fair Board of Directors and the Pageant Director. And I am in agreement with the fees to participate in the Tiny Miss pageant.
