The District of Columbia Quality Initiative (DCQI) Awards recognize individuals, projects, programs, partnerships, and initiatives that are advancing transportation throughout the Washington Metropolitan Region. The awards will be presented at the DCQI Conference on October 22, 2026, and will honor excellence in leadership, collaboration, innovation, infrastructure, mobility, and emerging talent within the transportation industry. Nominations are encouraged from both the public and private sectors. Thank you for your interest in the inaugural DCQI Awards Program. These awards celebrate the people, teams, and organizations making a meaningful impact on the future of transportation across the DMV region.
Submissions may recognize:

Each submission should include a completed nomination form, executive summary or project overview, selection of the applicable award category, and key project or team details that help explain the significance of the nomination. Supporting materials such as photos, renderings, video links, supporting documents, testimonials, or media coverage are optional but strongly encouraged. The more visual and story-driven the submission, the better it will help the review committee understand the overall impact, innovation, and significance of the nomination.
