The Campbell Award will honor a physician or scientist for outstanding contributions to the care of growing children with spine problems. Contributions would include innovative concepts, techniques, devices, or other major contributions which have significantly improved treatment outcomes for these children. While any physician or scientist is eligible to receive the Campbell Award, special consideration will be given to senior thought leaders.
A plaque will be awarded, and the recipient’s name announced at the annual International Congress on Early Onset Scoliosis. The recipient is encouraged to attend the meeting, as registration fees shall be waived.
The winner will receive hotel accommodation and course registration.
Airfare and other travel expenses will not be reimbursed. If the recipient is unable to attend the meeting due to health or other unusual circumstances, then a video connection will be allowed.

General Guidelines:
- Candidate must have made an exemplary and outstanding contribution to innovation and advancement of knowledge in the care of children with early onset scoliosis.
- Sponsor may independently send out requests for letters of support on behalf of the candidate.
- Sponsors must complete the 2026 Campbell Award Nomination Form to nominate a candidate. The Nomination Form may be submitted electronically only.
- Recipient of the award will be notified by September 1, 2026.
- The award recipient must accept by completing and submitting an acceptance form by September 15, 2026.
NOTE: There are no limitations on the number of times a person may be nominated for the Campbell Award.
