To begin planning and arranging your participation in the 35th Anniversary Heritage Journey to Ghana scheduled for October 9-18, 2027, Beyond the Return Travel & Tours, LLC requires a non-refundable Travel Planner Fee of $300 per adult.

This fee serves as your initial commitment to participate in the trip and allows Beyond the Return Travel & Tours, LLC to begin coordinating the planning, preparation, and group travel arrangements necessary for this experience. Planning a meaningful international group travel experience requires significant time, research, coordination, communication, and attention to detail.

Beyond the Return Travel & Tours, LLC brings more than 21 years of personal and professional experience traveling in and around Ghana, with a special focus on African Diaspora heritage travel, cultural immersion, group travel planning, and meaningful travel experiences throughout Ghana and West Africa.

As part of the planning process, Beyond the Return Travel & Tours, LLC will research and coordinate with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, tour guides, cultural sites, restaurants, activity vendors, and other travel industry suppliers connected to the trip. We will also coordinate group transportation, lodging arrangements, touring activities, itinerary development, and pre-trip preparation.

Travelers will receive guidance regarding important travel requirements and preparation steps, including but not limited to:

 

• U.S. passport requirements
• Ghana eVisa requirements
• Yellow Fever vaccination requirements
• Travel health and safety information
• Packing recommendations
• Payment deadlines
• Group travel expectations
• Cultural protocols and travel guidance

Communication may be provided through scheduled Zoom video calls, email updates, direct messaging, and/or an online itinerary platform. Once the itinerary is finalized, travelers will be provided access to trip details, confirmations, key dates, instructions, and other important travel information.

The $300 Travel Planner Fee allows Beyond the Return Travel & Tours, LLC to begin planning on your behalf and reserve your place in the group planning process. This fee is non-refundable and is separate from the total trip cost.

The projected trip cost starts at $3,500 per person, based on double occupancy and final group arrangements. The trip package is expected to include:

 

• Group ground transportation in Ghana
• Hotel accommodations with select meals (Double Occupancy)
• Coordination of scheduled touring activities
• Group itinerary planning and management
• Pre-trip preparation and traveler support
• Cape Coast Castle
• Kakum Rainforest Canopy Walk
• Assin Manso Slave River Site
• Independence Square
• Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum

The projected trip cost DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• International Airfare
• Passport application or renewal fees
• Ghana visa fees
• Yellow Fever vaccination fees
• Travel insurance
• Personal meals not included in the itinerary
• Gratuities and tips
• Optional activity fees
• Club entrance fees
• Alcoholic beverages, drinks, and personal food purchases
• Personal shopping and spending money
• Any services or activities not listed as included in the final itinerary

Optional activities and experiences may include, but are not limited to:

• Nightlife and beach experiences
• Waterfalls
• Cultural, heritage, dining, shopping, and relaxation experiences

Additional optional activities may carry separate costs and will be communicated in advance when possible.

All plans arranged through Beyond the Return Travel & Tours, LLC are designed to provide travelers with peace of mind, professional guidance, and a well-coordinated group travel experience. Please note that individuals who have not paid the required Travel Planner Fee and are not confirmed participants in the trip will not be permitted to participate in group activities, transportation, lodging arrangements, meals, tours, or other scheduled group experiences.

I agree with the above terms and conditions and authorize Beyond The Return Travel and Tours, LLC to coordinate my travel plans for the October 9-18, 2027 trip to Ghana, West Africa. I agree that if I decide not to continue with the trip, Beyond The Return Travel and Tours, LLC will be entitled to retain a portion of payments made, depending on the cancellation schedule below, as remuneration for work done on my behalf. I also understand that: 

• The $300 Travel Planner Fee is non-refundable.
• International airfare is not included.
• I am responsible for obtaining my passport, Ghana visa, Yellow Fever vaccination, and travel insurance.
• The trip price is based on double occupancy and final group arrangements.
• Optional activities may have additional costs.
• Unpaid balances by July 9, 2027 may result in cancellation of my reservation.

CANCELLATION & REFUND SCHEDULE:

March 6 – May 5, 2027: 50% refund of all payments made (excluding deposit).

May 6 – July 8, 2027: 25% refund of all payments made (excluding deposit).

After July 9, 2027: No refunds. 100% of total trip cost is non-refundable.
